Our aim is to promote religious harmony through greater understanding and respect within the London Borough of Hillingdon by:
- talking, networking and learning from each other;
- joining together to increase awareness and understanding of each other’s beliefs;
- sharing what we have in common in our work and activities and raising awareness of the needs of the communities we support;
- working together, united in our resolve to maintain peace and unity in a community that supports each other;
- developing and improving faith links across the borough.
This site provides details about faith based activities and events.
We have collated the wide variety of activities that are held in our faith buildings across Hillingdon. They are organised in such a way that you can easily find out what is happening in the various faith communities. This demonstrates how faiths are central to community. Some are specifically for followers of a faith, others open to those of any or no faith. Active Hillingdon
NEWS
*NEW* In 2011, HIFN ran 14 Faith in Schools' workshops and worked with 372 primary school children. Volunteers from Muslim, Jewish, Christian, Sikh and Quaker faith communities ran the workshops which focused on the themes of respect, being a good neighbour and gangs. Please contact admin@hifn.co.uk if you would like to volunteer to take part in a workshop or if you would like us to run one at your school.
